Curling hair

So I don't usually curl my hair because I'm more of the keep my hair straight kind of girl

But every once in awhile I get in the mood to curl my hair

The problem is........
I suck at curling my hair

Like I always try but it just never turns out. It doesn't really curl, it just looks horrible

My hair is naturally pretty straight, so I don't know if that's one of the problems aside from me just sucking at curling my hair


All I want is cute loose beach waves
Is that too much to ask for?!


Is naturally pretty straight hair a lot harder to curl?
Is there a certain kind of curling iron you need?
Do I just suck and will never be able to curl my hair?

wait till it heats up, maybe about 10 minutes
set it to the second highest degree, and if it isnt working, the highest.
My mom taught me all this so,
Just take time.
Maybe hold it in your hair for about 3 minutes.
If it isn't working, maybe looking up some tutorials on youtube.

I have naturally straight hair too, and I have no problem curling it.
Most of the time it's because of clean hair, but it doesn't mean that you need to stop washing your hair.
Wait one day after washing your hair to curl it,
most people think it's gross not to wash your hair everyday but it's not exactly healthy either.
Washing you hair every other day will also help it grow, and curls hold best in "dirty" hair.
It doesn't really depend on the curling iron,
but sometimes it can be the hair spray so try to go around and find one that suits your hair best.

Yeah I don't wash my hair everyday lol, it's not gross unless your hair starts getting oily or something haha

And I also think that I might not be holding it long enough
I only hold it for like 10 seconds and it never has a curl to it. It just has something ugly going on

You see, when I want to curl my hair I'm like....it'd be easier if I just had curly hair

But I mostly like my hair straight, so I'm actually glad my hair is pretty straight lol
