The great Maxi Debate.

Yay for my first non-introductionary thread ;D

Ok, so I wanted to bring up the subject of the 'Maxi Dress/Skirt' style.



I love dresses, but I don't tend to wear them very often haha And because I'm a shortie, I honestly didn't know what I would think of a Maxi dress/skirt.
I bought one anyways as you do haha and fell in love with it


What do you guys think of Maxi dresses and skirts? I kind of prefer the dresses opposed to the skirts for some reason lol

How do you accessories them?

I love to throw on a thin belt above my waist

I have one maxi aquit and its a like an aqua blue!
I love it, but I do prefer maxi dresses as well since I am on the short side,
i'm 5'3 and in my school, I am short! so dresses suit me a bit more. (:

I'm 5"8 so I wear mine with some strappy sandals, curl my hair and put on some gold jewellery to go with the maroon dress

OMG! I LOVE anything Maxi!

Okay so here is what I Would do.

With the dress, I would pair it with a light cover up, and some wedges, then an over sized handbag, and sunglasses.

I would totally wear the skirt with the belts up there with a crop top, sandals, and a hippy hairband. Also same with the big sunglasses.

unpopular opinion here.. but I like maxi skirts better:P i mean i myself own a maxi dress instead, but idk i just like the skirts better:P mostly because then you can change the shirt you put with it, giving variations to the look, ya know? i dont wear many heels (i would like to, but i can thank my mom for not buying me any..) so i would wear sandals and yeah, definitely a belt! so if it was a skirt i'd either do a tighter shirt tucked in with the belt or a crop top! so.. yup xx
